Where I can help

Leadership, Strategy & Change

When leaders, boards, and organisations need clarity, alignment, and commitment to navigate change and move important work forward

Teams, Trust & Collaboration

When groups of people need to strengthen relationships, build trust, and work more effectively together toward a common goal

New Ideas & New Ventures

When ideas need room to develop, a compelling story to gain traction, and a new product to launch

Community & Impact

When communities and impact-led organisations need to inspire commitment and expand their outreach

One-to-One

When you need some space to think, explore, and decide

My practice

You bring the question, the problem, the ambition, or the idea.

We don’t immediately jump to solutions.

Instead, we focus our kickoff conversation on unpacking what we’re really working on. Sometimes the brief is exactly right. Sometimes there’s more beneath the surface.

I’ll create space for fresh thinking, for distilling ideas, for envisioning your future. Some of the tools and frameworks I use have been refined over decades. A few are deliberately unconventional.

Sometimes the work involves clarifying your story, your strategy, your pitch. Or maybe it requires facilitating a complex discussion. Sometimes it’s about rallying others, and other times it’s about personal leadership. We’ll map the best way to get from right now to where you’re going next.

The process can be as impactful as the outcome.

Along the way, people gain clarity, build trust, and develop conviction.

And off you go.

Start with the ambition

Unpack the challenge

Design the process

Use or invent the right tools

Move it forward

About AI and all that…

There’s so much discussion—not to mention serious concern—about how AI, emerging tech, and advances in life sciences are altering the way we live and work. That the economics are inflated. That something existential and unstoppable is underway.

Every generation encounters developments that reshape the world in ways that are difficult to predict. Or in ways that are just… difficult.

And yet.

People will still, perhaps more than ever, need a sense of purpose. We will still need to work together, deal with uncertainty, and bring others with us. The technologies may change. The human dynamics do not.

When it comes to the real effects of disruption, I’m a realist. I’ve worked on enough future scenarios to understand the worry. I’ve also experienced the myriad clear benefits of transformational innovation, the good things we eventually take for granted. They don’t always show up right away.

So I’m also a resolute optimist. Change may well be against our nature. It forces us to confront our fragile hope for certainty. Change demands us to engage, as fully as we can. Because what’s also true is this: humans have always, even when it seemed impossible, been able to adapt and reimagine. Over time, we make things better.

Human progress isn’t something to just hope for.
It’s what we do together.

How we might work together

Engagements have included

• Facilitating leadership offsites

• Running board retreats

• Vision and strategy sprints

• Storytelling and narrative development

• Keynotes and speaking engagements

• Interactive war games

• Collaborative scenario planning

• Meeting design and facilitation

• Mentoring and advisory support

Sometimes I design a process from the ground up. We clarify where you want to go, and I work with you on the best approach. That might be a focused three-week sprint, a two-day workshop, or a programme that unfolds over many months.

Just as often, I’m invited to support something that already exists: a board retreat, strategy development process, business transformation program, leadership offsite, annual meeting, conference, or community gathering.

Many organizations already have channels, programs, or events where important conversations, decisions, and opportunities emerge. We can start with the opportunities you already have, and make the most of what’s already in place.

Much of my work is private by nature, whether confidential, strategically sensitive, or involving IP that’s proprietary to clients. Some of the most important work happens behind the scenes.

Your ambition inspires the approach.

Just you…

Not all of my work takes place in workshops, boardrooms, or strategy sessions.

Some people come to me because they’re exploring a new direction, wrestling with an important decision, or trying to make sense of what comes next.

Those conversations can be an hour or two or they can unfold over time. They are less about advice and more about perspective, reflection, and discernment.

Sometimes what people need is someone to think with.
